I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 1 March
It's a lazy Saturday at home...... There is allot of leftovers from the week in the fridge and I'm not going to cook much. For sure more difficult to keep LOW CARBING with a banana caramel pie hanging around as my family is enjoying their Saturday at home...... I'm staying strong.... it is not worth cheating and not coming down in weight for at least TEN DAYS then!
BREAKFAST was 2 eggs with feta cheese and left over oven vegetables of zucchini circles and brussell sprouts. Coffee and cream.
Had more coffee through the morning.
LUNCH was a bowl of the cauliflower soup and a thicken thigh dressed with mayonnaise. Had a handful of almonds and 2 cubes of dark chocolate for dessert. Coffee and cream.
SUPPER was 2 slices of the flaxseed bread topped with blue cheese accompanied with another bowl of the cauliflower cheese soup with added bacon bits and green onion.
Sipping on Peppermint Cinnamon tea at our family movie tonight to keep me out of trouble ;)
