I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 22 March
I have not lost much weight the last two days..... I think I have been eating too much...... protein. Even though the Dukan diet says you can eat as much as you like. Too much protein does not help weight loss!
Just wanted to clarify that I'm doing a ten day Dukan diet experiment to see how no fat influences my weight loss.
A lovely fun and restful Saturday! Was up SO early this morning........ Had my coffee for
BREAKFAST and made an omelette with 2 eggs and 1 1/2T of the oat bran.
Had another 2 mugs of coffee through the morning.
LUNCH was a picnic with friends. I had a bit of chicken before heading out on the picnic. I took tooth picks dressed with a cube of cheese, hot dog and slices of pickled cucumber. Was an extra treat. I had a bit of hummus WHICH IS NOT PART OF DUKAN ;) but it was a treat.
I had so much too eat through the afternoon from the picnic so I decided to skip supper.
