I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. ALL ABOUT TODAY: 14 March
Yey!!!! Its Friday! What a week!
BREAKFAST this morning was 2 fried eggs in butter and olive oil with left over mushrooms from last nights supper. I finished it off with a bit of blue cheese. Had two mugs of coffee with cream.
LUNCH was a cup and a half of cauliflower rice with half a tin of tuna with mayonnaise and a good grinding of pepper.
My dear husband took me on a date this afternoon I had a cream cuppachino and CHOCOLATE. Just a bit of chocolate but it was a treat ;) My treat for the weekend.
SUPPER was 100g of smoked salmon with 2 cups of lettuce and a 2 slices of tomato. With a dressing of olive oil and a touch of lemon.
I have stopped to log my food for now. What a great experience it was. It was eye opening in many ways. It takes allot of time though and I have a basic idea of how much I should eat now. I just catch myself still wanting to cut back on the oil and fat. Through all the years of dieting it was always a NO....... With Carbs I have managed to keep it nice and low. I know I have been eating too much protein so I'm trying to keep an eye on not having to much of that.
