ALL ABOUT TODAY: 24 March



ALL ABOUT TODAY! Literally! I have been trying sticking the the first phase of the Dukan diet for about 5 days on and off! Whew! I just can not live on protein!!!!! I'm giving in and going back to Atkins Induction and logging my food on "fat secret" from tomorrow and just sticking to the basics. I have been going back and forth with a few kilograms but have been climbing ever so slightly!!!!! :(

Today with BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND SUPPER was a mixture of eggs with oat bran, chicken, ground meat kebabs and a touch of mayonnaise...... won't say more.

A few things about LOW CARB THAT I HAVE LEARNED LATELY:

1. Low Carb means really low keeping it under 20g of carbs a day.

2. Drinking lots of water means 1 1/2liter of water a day.

3. High fat and carbs do not go together.

4. High fat causes weight gain for me. I need to figure out how much fat I can take and still loose weight.

5. Tracking my food in the morning before my day starts helps me to make sure I eat within my range of carbs, fat and protein.

6. Sticking to 20g carbs, 70 protein and about 70 fats for now works for me.

7. Being patient helps allot....... for some of us it is a very slow process.... not to become DISCOURAGED.

8. Accountability is absolutely necessary!
