I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY! 29 March
What a day! We went house hunting in a village.... there was not much to eat so I didn't have any food temptations.
BREAKFAST was 2 eggs with a sprinkle of cheese. I had 2 mugs of coffee the one with cream and the other whisked with a T of coconut oil. I knew it was going to be a challenging day so I thought the coconut oil would give me a good kick energy wise and keep me full.
LUNCH was a camp out at one of the homes we were looking out with one of the house owners. My family had hotdogs in buns with chips and pepsi. I had two of the hot dog sausages with blue cheese, mayonnaise and a cup of diet pepsi. Hey it was a picnic! ;)
SUPPER at home tonight I was starving for some salad. I had a big bowl of lettuce with blue cheese and olive oil. I was hoping that at least one of the avocado's I found yesterday in a store was RIPE enough to eat tonight..... NOT!
