I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 30 September
The kentucky crumb chicken salad and left over ice cream yesterday kicked my bud on the scale this morning. I was a kilogram heavier! I knew when I enjoyed these treats that I would have to pay for it. It was a treat but now to get back to business and loose weight.
I looked myself in the mirror this morning and said: "Girl you are to stubborn to give up now! Get going and loose the weight!" :D
BREAKFAST was 2 eggs with coffee and cream.
I tried to make the "bullet proof coffee" that all the weight loss experts says make such a difference in weight loss with Low Carb. I made it with 1T of cream, 1T of coconut oil and 1T of butter whipped it with the beater and was hoping it will froth some. Oeee it was not what I thought it would be. I could not drink it it made me nauseous..... at least now I have settled that one.
LUNCH was chicken strips with lettuce leafs.
Had a T of coconut oil midd afternoon. I was cleaning the house and needed the extra energy.
SUPPER was the "Chicken Satay Soup" It is a chicken broth with chicken pieces, sliced cabbage, broccoli, green onion with peanut butter, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, garlic and onion powder. Wow it was impressive. I had two bowls.
Then my neighbor came to our door with hot sarma (spicy rice wrapped in grape leafs) oh my a total weakness of mine. I took it..... and packed it in a little bag and dropped it in the freezer.... I'm keeping it till Christmas! Was very tempting. Hey this girl is on a mission!
The weather was so hot today and it helped me to drink more water.
