I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY:
I'm in a plateau again...... hoping to see good news on the scale soon. So sad that my weight goes down a few hundred grams, a bit up and then plateau en then loosing a bit and then again the same. I keep looking back and see the almost 13kg that I have lost. It helps me to not be discouraged. All together it adds up and I am coming down. It is hard to see that my weight loss is definitely not as much as it used to be...... I have heard that it does happen. Hoping to keep it going even if it is slow.
Keeping my goal in sight to weigh 70kg by middle October. My husband will be going on a trip for 2 1/2 weeks I'm hoping during this time to focus on Low Carb eating as I will be only cooking the necessary for me and the kids. He is the sweet tooth!
Life has turned out to be more busy and complicated home schooling the three kids than I thought it would be. I barely get time to be on the computer. I am hoping that it will come to a place of getting into a regular schedule again.
BREAKFAST was a two egg omelette with tomato and a sprinkle of cheese with coffee and cream.
LUNCH was leftover cauliflower pancakes with cucumber slices and feta cheese with a squirt of mayonnaise.
I cleaned the house this afternoon and had a glass of diet coke for that extra energy boost.
SUPPER was a treat at Ikea where I had a green salad, 3 meat balls and 3 chicken drumsticks.
KEEP GOING! The tortoise also crossed the line! :)
