ALL ABOUT TODAY: 21 September


NO! I'm not on this LOW CARB diet! :D

I'm so grateful for Saturdays. My weight was the same this morning as yesterday. A good sign. I'm thinking of only weighing in on Fridays.... but I don't think I can only wait to weight on Fridays :)

BREAKFAST was 2 egg omelette with spinach and feta. Coffee and cream!

LUNCH was very exciting. I used my Japanese mandolin to cut thin strips of zucchini/baby marrows stir fried them in butter and garlic. Topped off with black pepper and a sprinkle of peppadew salt. Then stirred in a T ok  2T of cream cheese with left over roasted chicken strip...... I felt like the queen eating lunch today.

Coffee and cream for dessert.

SUPPER was a big treat too. I actually after months of going back and forth not wanting to pay an arm and leg for an avocado pear I decided to buy one. It was rock hard off course! I had it in the microwave on defrost for 15 minutes let it sit for a few hours and seeeeeeeeeeeeeeee a ripe avocado! Hope I'm not going to get ill from it.

So Mhah here had half an avo with tomato, garlic, lemon, red onion and feta cheese for supper. Talk about a TREAT!

Even though I have been on Low Carb eating for months I do still struggle to let myself go with cream cheese and butter. For so many years it was printed into me not to eat it ...it makes fat! Sometimes I feel guilty enjoying these treats. Slowly I'm letting go and am enjoying good health and weight loss.

    1. Yes Louise it was a great idea. I went reading more and they said to put it in a brown paper bag when putting it in microwave until soft. Mine was not brown but soft I think it will be more tasty being brown.
