I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY:
Oh I have been steadily climbing..... SHOCKING! After giving it all this week in Induction something has been getting the better of my weight. I figured the only 2 things it could be is the JELLO it has artificial sweetener in it..... a friend also shared that it has messed her weight loss. I got rid of it and now hope for the next few days I can LOOSE! The other something that can be mixing into my weight loss is the COCONUT OIL. I tried taking it in the past and thought that I was gaining weight from it. Oh well! I'm going to drop the jello and see if the coconut oil can stay. I so much want the benefit of the coconut oil. Hoping for the best.
BREAKFAST this morning was just 2 eggs with coffee and cream.
Midd morning I had a T of coconut oil with coffee and cream.
LUNCH was the cauliflower rice with 2T of grated biltong/beef jerky. AND THEN my dear friend from down the street walked in the door with two eggplant halves baked in the oven with tomato, garlic and cheese. MHAH here had it all! At least it was all in the low carb wagon.
The weather is turning cooler and with it my appetite is increasing. Midd afternoon I had cheese melted in the microwave and a quarter chicken fillet.
SUPPER was tomato,cucumber and lettuce salad with chicken and broccoli stir fry with a sprinkle of cheese. Was so yum!
