Was such a lovely treat to be down 300g after the weekend. Solidly 14kg down!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Turkish neighbor commented this morning on how great I look. They say here "fistik gibi!" meaning looking as great as a peanut. I know it actually means looking like a million dollars, I for sure feel like it. It is a cute saying and I was so encouraged. All over people are commenting on how much weight I have lost and how young I look. It has taken months to get where I am. I am humbled by these compliments but also encouraged.
I was thinking it is going to be so hard keeping my weight down after I have reached my goal weight. The biggest challenge is then to stay there. I am hoping that what I'm learning now in loosing weight would become a lifestyle. The statistics on people loosing weight and then picking it all up and more are so high.....
Pulled out my jeans from under the bed this morning. After I have lost the 14 kg I look like the "bag lady" in my jeans from last winter. I have put elastics in the middles through the tops but I still look terrible. Oh well there was one pair I could live with for now. Replacing my clothes will not be a fast process...... it is so expensive..... I also want to wait until I'm my goal weight before buying some clothes.... That could be months from now. BUT A GREAT PROBLEM TO HAVE at the same time!
BREAKFAST was two fried eggs with cheese. Coffee and cream.
LUNCH was chicken noodle soup for my family and I ate the soup without the noodles and stirred some broccoli, green beans and walnut stir fried dish my neighbor brought over into the soup for extra vegetables and protein for me.
Midd afternoon I had my T coconut oil, a few olives, a T of cream cheese and more coffee and cream. Then I felt like 2 cubes dark chocolate and ATE IT!
Then I found that the avocado ripened among the fruit and I HAD THE WHOLE THING sprinkled with pepper and peppadew salt..... all I can say SO GOOD!
SUPPER was half the "bun in a mug" (keeping the other half for breakfast) with spicy strips of sausage, tomato and cucumber.
With the weather getting cooler my appetite is definitely increasing. I would have to find ways to incorporate this and not eat TOOOOOO MUCH in the process.
My husband is on a trip for two weeks and I'm cooking the least I have too. The kids are easy on their mama with cooking. So grateful for that.
