I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 3 November
BREAKFAST was the spinach egg muffins again. I had the last two with cucumber and a sprinkle of cheese. I had one of those coconut oil chocolates for a treat.
We came home at 16h00 this afternoon.
LUNCH AND SUPPER WAS A COMBINATION: I made us this dish in the oven, but before the dish was done I had 2 slices of turkey ham to curb the hunger. I could eat the trash can by then!

I added more vegetables like extra zucchini and mushroom and did not eat the potatoes and carrots. My family off course loved it served on rice.
I had another coconut oil chocolate.
Sunday is often a difficult day with food. We are home until 11h00 in the morning and only come back late afternoon. At church there is loads of carbs in cake and breads but never protein.
