I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 2 November
I'm dancing the jig! ;D Down 700g this week!!!!!!! Now I'm clocking in at 70.8 kg! Yes! After the long stall and plato I'm really happy to get going and loose again. Wooooooo but it takes work, patience and perseverance! I'm down 15.2kg!
For breakfast I made Spinach Quiche.
BREAKFAST THIS MORNING: Spinach Quiche - 2 cups spinach chopped (I used frozen spinach), 6 eggs, 3/4cup feta cheese, freshly grind black pepper, 1 tin tuna, 1/3 cup cream, red pepper flakes to taste. Mix in kitchen aid, or magi mix. Scoop in muffin or silicone pans. Bake in oven at 180dC until brown. I sprinkled a little bit of cheese on top. DELICIOUS!!!!!!
Had a coconut oil midd morning with my coffee and cream again.
LUNCH: Was two more of these spinach quiches with a squirt of mayo. It is so delicious I just love it.
SUPPER: Our family had an early supper. We ate Turkish shaved chicken. My family had theirs the Turkish way wrapped in wraps or stuffed in bread but I had my chicken shavings on a bed of salad. Lettuce, onion, pickles and tomato. I had another one of those coconut oil chocolates for dessert not that it tastes like dessert :D
Wanted to go for a long sport walk this morning....... Did not sleep much with my husband coughing and my son throwing up through the night. Excuses will get me everywhere ;) I took the dog for a long peaceful walk though......
