I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 13 October
Sunday is normally an easy food day. We leave for church late morning and get back midd afternoon. I get to eat only two meals. Hoping really that tomorrow it will help me on the scale.
BREAKFAST was an egg salad for me while my family was munching on CINNAMON ROLLS but my coffee and cream made up for it :)
LUNCH: We got back at 15h00 I was really hungry. I had a tin of tuna with some egg salad, left over, lettuce and the "bun in a mug" without the almond meal. I made it with only 2T ground flaxseed, 1 egg, 1T olive oil and 1/2t baking powder.
I had a great cup of coffee with cream for my afternoon treat.
Something that I have read yesterday in a great article about weight loss that in Low Carb a person should not eat if they are not hungry. I have been eating strictly the three meals not wanting to eat too little and then stall in weight. Often I'm not hungry in the evening..... I am normally starving by breakfast and lunch. Often at four in the afternoon I feel like supper but eat a snack then and supper with my family. I think I might eat more midd afternoon and have a very light supper or skip eating if I am not hungry at all. Will see how this work.
