I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 12 October
Oh the joy of Saturdays.... I had a good morning cutting back bushes in the garden, fiddling around with plants... I took a long brisk walk and came back and sat and had a good cup of coffee with cream. I feel rested and ready for Sunday.
I was down on the scale this morning after being on a plateau for a week and even picking up a bit. I also just felt under the weather.. bloated and as thick as three thunder storms :) Wow feeling much better today. Will weight in on Monday.
BREAKFAST was midd morning and was a small avocado with a bit of salt and little bit of grated cheese.
LUNCH was eaten at about three this afternoon and was pieces of chicken and a BIG salad with cucumber, tomato, red pepper, gherkins and feta cheese. It was like my body was craving salad. Had a ball fully enjoyed every bite.
Had 2 cubes of dark chocolate for dessert and the last of the mini salami sticks.. :) its about time!
I skipped supper as I ate lunch only at three and didn't feel much like eating. Drinking more water today as the weather has suddenly turned warm again.
