I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. ALL ABOUT TODAY: 2 June
MONDAY seems to be a great challenge in many ways. Mine started off with a loss of 800g for last week. That was good.... but oh then things got out of hand. By midd morning I had to laugh and ask my family if anything more can happen........ I think the last straw was when the dog threw up on my daughters bed :D Anyway it turned out to be a great day after all.
BREAKFAST was a feast with left over egg quiche from yesterday morning with left over tomato and cucumber salad. Coffee and cream.
Being such a crazy morning I was watching the clock to get to my second cup of coffee midd morning. I really felt like the energy kick the 2T of coconut oil gives me.
LUNCH was 3 cups of chopped lettuce with olive oil and blue cheese crumbles.
I had half a cup of watermelon cubes for dessert.
Had a mug of coffee with a splash of milk midd afternoon.
SUPPER was a big blessing as dear friends of ours came over for supper. I made spagetti bolognaise with garlic bread, a big salad and apricot crumble with ice cream. OOOOOH I felt like the garlic bread but had a bed of salad with the red meat sauce over and a good sprinkle of cheese.
