I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 14 June
I think I should share actually what I decided not to eat today: cinnamon rolls, chips, chocolate, pizza, fruit salad etc. It was a good food day I stayed clear of all these temptations. I drank my one and half liter of water and more...... and I took the kids on their scooters and the dog (not ons his scooter ;D) and speed walked for 45 minutes.
It feels good! To get to exercise takes allot of energy for me but once I'm going it is such a treat.
BREAKFAST was a surprise from my daughter. She made me a two egg omelette with tomato slices and cheese. Coffee and cream. Late morning I made myself a bun in a mug with almond meal and flaxseed meal and rounded it off with butter and a few slices of turkey ham.
;) I had some more coffee off course.
LUNCH was a chicken fillet for me with mayonnaise and HP sauce.
Coffee and cream. It was a lazy Saturday at home and we were all just laying around reading or watching Master Chef.
SUPPER was a 3 cup chopped lettuce salad with olive oil, black pepper and coarse sea salt. My new favorite.
For a Saturday at home it was a good Low Carb Day!
