I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. ALL ABOUT TODAY: 13 June
Was the last day of Turkish school today. Now only two weeks left over of home schooling and THEN IT IS SUMMER HOLIDAY! I'm so ready.
Did my walking last night I did about 45 minutes. Was so good, I felt so alive and happy. Was hoping I could go tonight.... but the dog needs to go to the vet for stitches in a wound...... Maybe I can squeeze it in. The weather is hot hot so no problem getting my one and a half liter of water in.
BREAKFAST was two eggs fried in butter with feta cheese. Coffee and cream.
Had my 2T of coconut oil coffee mid morning.
LUNCH was 3 cups of chopped lettuce and 6 chicken nuggets sliced in with half a tomato. Had a bit of 70 percent dark chocolate for a treat.
Midd afternoon I had another coffee with cream and a cup of cucumber slices dipped in ranch dressing. AND THEN I DISCOVERED that the dear mayonnaise I have been enjoying on and in everything has 6g of carbs per 100ml....... no wonder I'm going no where! Cutting it out!
TO BE HONEST today is one of those days when I feel as big as a balloon. Not sure why but just bloated and feeling stuffed.....
SUPPER will be ZUCCHINI PIZZA SLICES. My husband found very interesting round zucchini like a squash in the bazaar. I am going to slice them and pre bake in the oven. Top it with tomto paste flavored with garlic and basil and bits of chicken with grated cheese and then baking it again to melt the cheese. Will come and post a photo of it.
