I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 11 JUNE
TODAY goes down as probably loose hands as one of my most challenging days Home Schooling as we are heading into exams......... we do not have an option of public school and I just have to pull through...... off course CHOCOLATE stays a place I run too...... I wish it was water. ... when it comes to food and drinks.
BREAKFAST was an omelette with left over tomato and onion salad from last night and grated cheese. Coffee and cream. I had too much coffee today probably 3 mugs.... There wasn't time for coconut coffee BUT TOMORROW!
I had a few chicken strips late morning to pull me over to lunch.
LUNCH was 3 cups of chopped lettuce, tomato and chicken strips with olive oil and ranch dressing.
I had a few cubes of chocolate TOO MUCH for low carb but at least it was 70 percent dark.
SUPPER was sweet and sour Chinese food. I ate a bit of the carrot strips and pepper strips but tried to get most of the mushrooms and zucchini with the chicken, but skipped the pineapple pieces. I wasn't too hungry at supper which is good for me.
I didn't go exercise today but had at least 1 1/2 liter of water.
Tomorrow the sun comes up again. HIS MERCY IS NEW EVERY MORNING!
