I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 15 June
Was a lovely Father's Day at home. We were planning on a picnic at the beach but it did not work out. I was looking forward to picnic food....... sun and sea!
BREAKFAST was 2 eggs fried in butter, half a cup tomatoes on the side and feta cheese. Coffee and cream, had another mug through the morning.
We were laid back and my family kept themselves full with banana bread and left over pizza.
By late morning almost LUNCH TIME I was ready for another meal. I had a chicken breast with bbq sauce and mayonnaise. One cup of sliced cucumbers with Ranch Dressing.
I made myself an espresso with a good shot of cream. By now I'm starving and my dear husband is going to BBQ for us.
SUPPER then will be BBQ chicken with oven roasted zucchini circles, red pepper and mushroom. I also have eggplant basted with olive oil in the oven baking with garlic and salt.
Had my water for the day and planning to take the kids and dog for a 45 minute brisk walk again.
