I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 8 July
Loosing weight the low carb way is like dancing the cha-cha! One forward and two backwards and so on :D Today I was a bit up on the scale....... I thought it could have been the peanut flour... I should look at the carb count. Also I licked the lasagna spoon last night ;) Hoping it will be good news tomorrow morning. Would love to make my weight loss for the week at least almost 2kg. How nice would that be ;)
BREAKFAST was 2 fried eggs in butter with grated cheese. Coffee and cream.
Midd morning I had 2T of coconut oil blended into my coffee.
LUNCH was 3 cups of chopped lettuce with the other half of the tin of tuna and a bit of feta cheese. I also added a cup of chopped cucumber to the salad with a good helping of olive oil and black pepper.
I had to take my daughter to basketball in a neighboring village. I took my travel mug of coffee and a bit of flavored sugar free coffee creamer on the road. I didn't go walk with the dog tonight BUT I had a 2 hour reasonable brisk walk through town.
My sweetheart girl and I had tea at a Turkish place. I did not have any baklava but it was tempting as she ate hers.
SUPPER: I came home real late. My family had left over lasagna from last night and salad. I had half a chicken breast with mayonnaise and bacon bits and lettuce. Was a quick supper.
A little cup of coffee and cream for dessert.
The weather is really hot as midd summer is coming up. I had a good deal of water and still drinking.
