I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. ALL ABOUT TODAY: 2 July
I'm doing great at the failing lately but I'M NOT QUITING! We out an outing as a family into the city today. It was such fun. BUT OH we had fried chicken.... a big treat as it is very scarce here. I only had one piece and no chips and cooldrink........
BREAKFAST this morning was a "bun in a mug". I used 1T of flaxseed meal, one egg, a T of olive oil, 1/2t of baking powder. In the microwave for 1 minute and there it was. I fried two eggs in butter and served it with a sprinkle of cheese. Coffee and cream.
I had another mug of coffee and cream midd morning.
LUNCH was then the 1 piece of fried chicken. I had 3 pieces of dark chocolate for dessert. Today was a bit of a SPRING OUT and tomorrow I go on again.
SUPPER: I am having 2 cups of chopped lettuce for supper with olive oil and a bit of vinegar. Had my share of protein for the day.
Remember eating low carb is not an all you can eat buffet of chicken, cheese and meat. A portion per meal is the size of the palm of your hand. Keep to low carb salad and vegetables and you are set. I think I did one and a half liter of water easily today.
OH AND THIS MAMA got up early this morning and did her 4km walk with the dog before we went on our outing. I was going to go tonight again...... BUT MY GO IS OUT!
