I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 13 July
Getting my mind in order: TOMORROW IS MONDAY! A new beginning! Monday is always a good time to start again. I had a good Low Carb weekend except the WHOLE CHOCOLATE BAR I ate Friday evening....... Hoping it would not cause too much damage on the scale. Weighing in tomorrow morning. I am still enjoying the 1.3kg I lost last week....... Hoping to loose another 1kg this coming week.
BREAKFAST was 2 fried eggs with grated cheese. Coffee and cream.
Had another coffee and then we were off to church.
LUNCH was tuna salad with tomato, tuna, feta cheese, mayonnaise scooped into big lettuce leafs.
Had another coffee midd afternoon. I actually made an ice coffee with 2t of coconut oil, a bit of stevia and 1T of cream with water. Not sure if I really liked it.
SUPPER was zoodles (zucchini strips fried in butter and garlic) I fried a few spicy sausage circles with this and added an egg. It was like delicious, will for sure make this again.
I had lots of water today and walked the kids and the dog for 4km this evening YAY WAY TO GO!
