I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 10 July
Was the weigh in for the week CHALLENGE TODAY! This mama bear was 1.3kg down for this week! Yes! Going to try to loose at least another 1kg this coming week.
BREAKFAST was a great event with a friend over for scones and coffee. I served my family the scones etc and I made the bun in a mug with flaxseed for me. I had the one half with cheese and cream and the other half with cream and cheese ;) Didn't even miss the jam. Had 2 mugs with cream and coffee.
Was a busy morning so I didn't even had the time for my coconut coffee.
LUNCH was tuna salad for my family with flour tortillas. I had 3 cups of chopped lettuce with my tuna, tomato and mayonnaise on top and a sprinkle of grated cheese. I had 3 cubes of dark chocolate for dessert. Tomorrow I go strict again.
Took my daughter to basketball in another town and had tea at the Turkish tea place on the street with a friend. We walked around town for 2 hours. I wouldn't call it a brisk walk but at least it was a walking move for 2 hours.
SUPPER was an event with a dear family leaving the country and we offered to bring them supper tonight. We had a picnic in their lounge around their coffee table. I had roasted chicken bits on slices of tomato with squirts of mayonnaise on top. Was a fun but sad event. I skipped the heavenly baklava though.
Didn't get to walk the dog tonight as we got home late but I had more than my reasonable amount of water today.
