I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 6 JULY
I always laugh when I see this funny picture..... IT IS SO TRUE! It was a good day. I love Sundays sitting out on my veranda early in the morning enjoying my coffee in quiet.
BREAKFAST was 2 fried eggs with 2T of cheese. Coffee and cream. Actually had 2 mugs.
We leave our home in the village to go to church in the city at 11h30 and get back normally late afternoon. I was WISE today and packed myself two boiled eggs that I ate the moment we got out of church into the car. I was starving and YES DIDNT fall for any carbs and cakes at church with the tea.
SUPPER was early then and we had a guest and my family off course had pizza! I made a pesto sauce and stir fried some mushrooms and added left over chicken strips from the braai yesterday and had it on a bed of chopped lettuce for a wonderful supper, while keeping an eye on the Wimbledon tennis finals. Had coffee and cream too.
My dessert was 2T of cream cheese mixed with a few drops of stevia and half a t of cacao powder. FINGER LIKEN GOOD!
I didnt go walking today with to dog A GIRL NEEDS AN OFF DAY TOO! ;) I for sure had enough water today. Looking forward getting on the scale tomorrow again.
