I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. ALL ABOUT TODAY: 17 July
Wish I had this trap at my house today! The girls decided to make their dad chocolate chip cookies. They left mama bear in the kitchen with the dough and two pans in the oven....... THE REST IS HISTORY! YES! I ate a cookie and a spoon full of dough........ BLOW IT! Anyway the only way is forward no way the dough and cookie will just disappear......
There was no significant change on the scale this morning after a day of FAT FASTING. I know patience has not been a strong thing for me dieting. Taking today by storm and going to give it all tomorrow fat fasting. I was hoping I could do another few days but we will be visiting friends on Saturday and sleeping over. Not a good time to do a fat fast. A break in between is maybe just what I need.
I logged my food for the day on "fatsecret" to make sure I eat the right amount of fat, carbs and protein. It seems right with high fat, low carb and protein.
Again I divided my five FAT FAST meals:
1. I had 2 eggs fried in butter sprinkled with cheese. Coffee and cream.
2. Had midd morning coffee with 2T of coconut oil.
3. Had 2T of tuna and 2T of mayonnaise.
Coffee and cream.
4. Again I had a chicken skin I kept from a meal. I snipped it and fried until crisp for a snack.
5. I had an event for a group of ladies at our house tonight. I served cucumber circles with feta cheese and sweet chili sauce for starters. I made a curry chicken layered salad and had a scoop of it, it was delicious. Another lady brought a cold tomato soup and I had a little bit.
Had a good deal of water today but couldnt go for my walk with the dog. Hoping to do that tomorrow.
I enjoy the fat fast if I could only stay purely to it. Tomorrow is my third day and I would want to go on longer but will do that next week.
