I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 29 August
Hey ho Hey ho another 200g down on the scale this morning! I'm weighing in at 76.8! Now to keep going down!
BREAKFAST was 2 fried eggs, coffee and cream.
Midd morning had 2T of coconut oil, 2T of butter and blended into my coffee. First time I tried the butter inside and it was better than I thought it would be.
LUNCH was earlier - I was starving so I had a big bowl of the Low Carb soup. ITS DONE! I think I had my share of low carb soup for a few weeks ;) It served me well but I'm ready to move on ;)
Had coffee with a t of flavored coffee creamer for dessert.
MIDD afternoon I had a about 2T of ground chicken mixed with mayonnaise wrapped in lettuce leafs to pull me over until supper.
I was getting a salad ready to take to a family that invited us for supper. I thought taking a salad would provide some food for me too. I made a lettuce salad with oven roasted pumpkin, feta cheese, roasted pumpkin seeds and a delicious dressing of lemon, olive oil and mustard. We did then get pizza for supper and the salad was perfect for me.
The last two days were good LOW CARBING...... Especially when there is some good news on the scale. I find weekend very challenging........ I'm determined to keep going........
