I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 26 August
Enjoying a bowl of low carb chicken and spinach soup for lunch. It feels like I'm retaining water........ probably getting ready for that T.O.M! Times like this I feel as big as an elephant. The only way there is through it as the scale is standing as a rock.
BREAKFAST was 2 fried eggs, coffee and cream.
Midd morning I had a mug of coffee blended with 2T of coconut oil.
Late morning I had a bowl of low carb chicken soup.
LUNCH was a big bowl of chopped lettuce with olive oil and pink salt. THEN one of the kids didnt eat an extra hot dog and I had it...... ONLY the sausage I gave the bun to the dog. Good one!
After lunch I had a mug of coffee with a t of flavored coffee creamer.
I made the kids some peanut butter and just could not resist the warm creamy dreamy of it I had 1t. Was proud of myself I really wanted more.
SUPPER was late afternoon for me filled with a big bowl of the low carb soup.
I had 2 liters of water today, I'm ready for summer to come to an end now.
I actually talked the kids into joining me for some exercise. They walk every other evening the 4km with me and the dog and then I take them to the soccer field and speed walk around the court for half an hour. Tonight was my turn to take them to the soccer field..........
