I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 24 August
TOMORROW IS MONDAY AGAIN! The beginning not just of a new week BUT ALSO THE BEGINNING OF MANY DIETS ;) I have a plan for this new week too. Weekends I let go a bit and then during the week I give it all. Not that I go overboard during weekends but I will eat a bit more protein or vegetables.
I have seen that cutting back on dairy and cheese, even less cream in my coffee have been helping in weight loss. I will continue drinking 2T of coconut oil in my coffee once a day. Also cutting back on protein has helped me loose more weight.
Doing a 4 day soup fast last week kicked me through a weight stall. Again this week I want to for 3 days use the Low Carb soup for lunches and suppers.
BREAKFAST: We were going to enjoy breakfast with our friends at Ikea. I had coffee and cream early morning at home and had a boiled egg too before we left. Breakfast was at ten and I had half an omelette, a piece of sausage, olives, slice of tomato, cucumber and cheese. Was such a treat. I dragged some nice coffee with in my travel mug and enjoyed it through the day.
We went to church in the city and only came back home at 5 this afternoon.
LUNCH/SUPPER was 5 small chicken wings and a nice coffee with cream when we got home. Days like today I could eat a large pizza at pizza hut....... BUT I DIDN'T I JUST DROOLED OVER MY FAMILY'S PIZZA :D But hey the chicken wings were great just little..... compared to pizza ;)
Tomorrow is weigh in and I'm being ready for BIG TIME WEIGHT LOSS THIS WEEK!
