I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. ALL ABOUT TODAY: 15 Augustus
Hoooowoooooo It's Friday! It was a long week...... the first week of the new home school year is always the toughest.....
I am discouraged today with no weight loss this week..... I have tried so hard looking at everything I eat, drinking my water, walking my 4km every night and then NOTHING! The best thing is to just keep going - I keep telling myself. My dear SKINNY MARATHON RUNNING HUSBAND then walked passed me and noted: "Do you think you have picked up some weight this holiday?" Not the best thing to comment....... IF LOOKS COULD KILL ;)
BREAKFAST was 2 fried eggs. Coffee and cream.
Midd morning I had some more coffee and cream. I also enjoyed a T of peanut butter on the side.
LUNCH was 3 cups of chopped lettuce with one cup of chopped red cabbage. A splash of sesame oil and 1T of lemon juice. I added 10 olives to this and about 2T of feta cheese. Was a meal for a king!
I was planning pizza for my family and oven baked eggplant boats for me. THE POWER WENT OUT......
SUPPER then was eggplant strips fried in the pan in olive oil topped with a bit of pizza sauce and grated cheese. I had a squeeze of mayonnaise with the slices.
I had allot of water today and am thinking of walking the dog but might skip tonight........ it was a long week I really feel tiered.
