I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 23 August
This was midd afternoon SUPPER today. We were going to BBQ but my very athletic husband is practicing to do a marathon and hurt his ankle. We decided to change the outdoor bbq to an oven bbq bake. I ate the oven roasted vegetables on a bed of lettuce with a dressing of mustard and olive oil. Had a little piece of chicken.
BREAKFAST was 2 fried eggs. Coffee and cream.
Midd morning to pull me over to lunch I had coffee blended with 2T of coconut oil.
LUNCH was chopped lettuce, sliced tomato, olive oil and a few strips of left over chicken.
SUPPER then was the salad with chicken.
I had another coffee late afternoon with a bit of flavored coffee creamer and a few coconut oil chocolates my daughter made earlier this week.
Today the weather was very hot. I drank allot of water.
I feel torn between the kids wanting to walk to the soccer field and play soccer and me wanting to take the dog for a walk and some good exercise. I probably will take the kids to the soccer field and do a bit of running and walking there ;)
