I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. ALL ABOUT TODAY: 2 April
Today was the first day of a CHALLENGE for me and some friends on my Low Carb Karin facebook page. I have made a new commitment to get rid of the last three kilograms that has become five now! Terrible but true.
Especially after reading a report this weekend that said. Only five percent of all people loosing weight can keep the weight they have lost off. The other 95% picks it all up again and more. Sobering thoughts!
I am seeing how many days I can go purely eating Atkins Induction, drinking 1 1/2 liters of water and exercising at least 30 minutes a day. Hoping this would give me a new determination, accountability and motivation to keep going and loosing the last kilograms to reach my 20kg down mark.
BREAKFAST this morning was 2 eggs fried in butter with half a cup chopped cucumber and 1T tomato cubes. I had one mug of coffee with cream and one mug of coffee whipped with 1T of coconut oil.
Normally midd morning I feel starving so I was hoping the coconut coffee will keep me full and it did AMAZINGLY!
LUNCH was a 2 cup lettuce salad with olive oil and I made Chinese Chicken Egg drop Soup - I had one bowl.
Had another mug of coconut oil coffee midd afternoon pulling me over to supper.
Also got myself into half an avocado with salt.... my total weakness! Only half a one allowed per day looking forward to have the other half tomorrow ;)
SUPPER was half a cup of ground chicken flavored with taco spicing served on a bed of cauliflower mayonnaise salad.
I am trying to cut back on cream and cheese as I know this has kept me from loosing weight before.
1. I kept to strict Induction food today!
2. I have drank 1 1/2 liters of water today - half a liter left in my jar but will finish it before tonight.
3. I have actually walked the dog for about 40 minutes this evening! The dog is delighted that his master is getting into walking now.
REACHED MY GOAL FOR TODAY!
HOW ARE YOU DOING? Yay!
