I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 10 April
WAS DOWN ANOTHER 300g this morning. For the last 9 days I have lost 900g! It sounds great to loose 100g a day but it is so little. I wish it was more. I need to be patient and keep going....... Just got home quite late! Was a long afternoon out looking at our new house ETC!
BREAKFAST was 2 fried eggs with left over salad from last night. I added a bit of feta cheese to give it a bit of spike. Had coffee and cream.
Midd morning I had another coffee with coconut oil and 5 olives as a snack.
LUNCH was a piece of chicken with lots of lettuce with chopped tomato and cucumber.
I had 2T of blue cheese for a snack this afternoon.
SUPPER was at our friends house she made crumbed chicken strips with potatoes and carrots. I ate some of the chicken, skipped the potatoes and had about 2T of carrots. This was not the best low carb meal but I tried to stick to the basics. I find it stressful to eat out especially at friends as they often cook to make it special. Then to be sensitive and not offend anybody.......
I had my one and a half liters of water for today but only managed to walk 20 minutes for exercise as we were out all afternoon. I stayed strong and skipped the chocolate cream cake and divine chocolate chip cookies after supper tonight at our friends home.
Tomorrow I go on again.
