I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 17 April
This running between two homes cleaning the one and packing the other is so tiring. All I can say I'm taking it day by day and moment by moment. After almost a year and a half Low Carb Eating is starting to feel like a LIFESTYLE...... I feel content eating basic Low Carb foods and I have almost no cravings. I'm amazed at my energy levels. I feel tiered in the evenings but nothing like I use to feel.
BREAKFAST was 2 fried eggs in butter with 2T of grated cheese. Coffee and cream. I took another coffee on the road.
LUNCH was a picnic on the floor of our new home. I had 3 cocktail hot dogs with tomato and cucumber circles and a T of mayonnaise for dipping. I had one square of dark chocolate for dessert.
We did not have a lot of drinking water so I did not get to drink my liter and a half today. I'm definitely going to try to catch up on water through the evening tonight.
SUPPER was a treat as my daughter cooked supper. She made a cauliflower bake in the oven with cream, mayonnaise and ranch dressing with cheese on top. Was so good! She cooked ground meat with taco spicing. I'm going to sleep like a rock tonight. Hoping so that the scale will smile at me soon........
