I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 11 April
FRIDAY! Have been waiting long to get to this wonder end of the week........ I'm packing up the house for the big move and this house is on its head! What an interesting food day it was.....
BREAKFAST was a tin of sardines from my Norwegian neighbor. Was such a treat. Coffee and cream.
Midd morning I had my coffee and coconut oil.
LUNCH was another treat from my dear sweet American neighbor - a cauliflower salad with herbs, green onion and pickled cucumbers. I added 2T of blue cheese for a treat.
My afternoon was an event with a group of ladies from our neighborhood. I took a carrot cake along knowing that dodging the carbs was going to be a challenge. I think I did well I tried my best. Scratch here and scratch there ;) and I made the best choices I could. When it came to the cake I just very politely had to say no! I had a few glasses of Turkish tea and a Turkish coffee.
I came home and found two pans of pizza on my kitchen counter AND a lovely lettuce, cucumber, tomato and egg salad. What a delight from my neighbor....... I AM SO BLESSED! A great way to enter the weekend ;)
SUPPER then was the salad for me and the pizza for my dear family.
I walked my 30 minutes today, drank my one and a half liters of water and I tried my best to stick to Induction the best I could. Didn't eat any sugar but had to take a bite of bulgur and a bite of a pasta dish.... not to culturally offend.....oh well! I go on!
