I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

SEPTEMBER 9
I'm reminded again today: that every little bit forward eating low carb is like adding a drop in a bucket. Eventually the drops add up......
I was up on the scale this morning. The honey coated pork circles got the best of me. Oh well, just have to go on and get past it.
BREAKFAST was 2 fried eggs in butter, 2T of feta cheese, coffee and cream.
Had coffee midd morning with 2T of coconut oil. I really do not understand how some people claim to be so full after their coconut coffee in the morning that they only eat supper again. I find myself starving in the morning even after my coconut coffee.
Had 2 of the pork circles late morning. I scrubbed them well to make sure all the sugar is off. For sure not going to throw them out.
LUNCH was 3 cups of chopped lettuce, 2T of olive oil, half a chicken breast stir fried and dapped with mayonnaise.
Had coffee with 1t of coffee creamer for dessert.
SUPPER was late afternoon today. I ate half a cup of tuna mixed with mayonnaise, cucumber sticks all wrapped in seaweed leafs.
It is my turn to go to the soccer field with the kids tonight. Will do my usual speed walking around the court while they play. As the weather is turning cooler it is not that easy for me anymore to keep up drinking enough water. I need to keep reminding myself to drink some.
