I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. SEPTEMBER 8
Was DOWN ON THE SCALE this morning. Last Monday I was 76.2 today I was 75.2 WOW A WHOLE WHOPPING KILOGRAM LOST this week! I'm a happy camper.....
My husband came back from a three week trip out of the country this morning. He came back with a whole kilogram of these ground pork, fried and dried patties as a gift for me. OH MY! I have been dreaming about bacon. My dear husband didnt know this but they are BASTED IN HONEY............ I almost cried....... I ate a few but they are just too sweet AND FILLED WITH CARBS...... then I rinsed them under the tap (this mama was set on eating them) to see if it helps. No! They are soaked through with sugar...... What a disappointment... I can not tell you the extend of it...... ALL TOGETHER I HAD ABOUT TEN OF THEM..... I know it is going to ruin my weight loss..... Why oh why base meat with honey?????? I stashed them in the freezer until I can come up with a plan.....
BREAKFAST was 2 eggs fried with half a cup of spicy sausage circles. Coffee and cream.
Midd morning I had a cup of coffee blended with 2T of coconut oil. SPLENDID ;) I was unusual hungry today so I had 2T of feta cheese and a pickle too.
LUNCH was a mixture of the "honey meat circles" and 3 cups of chopped lettuce, a bit of tomato, 2T of olive oil, black pepper and pink salt.
Had a mug of coffee with one t of coffee creamer for dessert with two cubes of dark chocolate all the way from Thailand. 1 carb a cube of chocolate...... that is amazing.
SUPPER will be a cup of stir fried mushrooms and chicken in butter and a few leafs of lettuce.
I'm taking the dog and kids for a 4km walk. I just have to walk off all that sugar. Tomorrow is another day.
