I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

SEPTEMBER 3
Was a good day on the scale..... WAS DOWN TO 75.7 was 76.2. I was pleased. My goal weight is 70kg! Cant wait to get there. It has been a long journey. Not that I was not close..... I was 72.8 kilogram earlier this year...... I slipped away and the kilograms slowly piled back. I am so grateful that I was able to pull myself together and get going again.
BREAKFAST - was 2 eggs fried in olive oil with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese. Coffee and cream.
Midd morning I had coconut oil and coffee.
LUNCH was 3 cups of chopped lettuce with half a tin of tuna and 2T olive oil.
Had coffee with 1t of no sugar flavored coffee creamer.
Midd afternoon I had 2T of feta cheese.
SUPPER was late afternoon. I felt like a sandwich with lots of butter. So I baked a FLAXSEED LOAF, it was perfect. I had the other half of the tin of tuna with a bit of cheese, mayonnaise and cucumber sticks. Had coffee and cream for dessert.
I had allot of water to drink today. This evening I went walking the kids and our dog for a 4km walk - it felt good to get out of the house and do some exercise.
