I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. SEPTEMBER 13
Saturday is normally my favorite day of the week. To get up early in the morning and enjoy my cup of coffee on the stoep before anyones up. Just having a break in the normal schedule of the week.
BREAKFAST was this delicious meal here on the photo, coffee and cream. It kept me full until lunch. I love breakfast and I love it big.
I had coffee blended with coconut oil late afternoon.
LUNCH - I am trying to stick to only two meals a day and today worked out well. I had a bit of roasted chicken left overs from earlier this week with mayonnaise around lunch time. Our family went out this afternoon and the kids got spoiled with pizza out I had a small chicken salad -REALLY SMALL ;) and a small bite of pizza ;)
My very skinny husband ;) went running for 26 kilometers this afternoon and our family dragged along. My daughter on her roller blades for the 26km and the two younger ones on scooters and mamma bear walking. I speed walked for an hour before the little ones had enough. At least I got my exercise in for the day.
