I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. I decided to go by the way of LOW CARB EATING. This blog is about my journey..... the good and the bad.....

2 SEPTEMBER
Was nothing more down on the scale this morning..... But I'm pleased with my weight loss this last week.
BREAFAST was 3 eggs fried in olive oil, coffee and cream.
Midd morning I had coffee with 2T of coconut oil.
Late morning I was starving and had my protein that I was keeping for lunch - chicken strips and mayonnaise.
LUNCH - By the time lunch came around I had 3 cups of chopped lettuce with olive oil and pink salt.
Had another nice cup of coffee with a t of flavored sugar free coffee creamer.
WHAT AN AFTERNOON! Home schooling is not for sissies........ that is all I say........
The fact that I didnt storm my kids chocolate stash was just grace..... I made it through until supper without getting into sugar under extreme stress....
SUPPER was 2 cups of frozen spinach, half a cup of sliced spicy sausage fried in butter.
Had a little espresso cup of coffee and cream just to round of the day. ;)
I was suppose to go for my 4km walk with the dog tonight..... instead I bundled the kids into the car and took them for ice cream ....... I know but WE ONLY LIVE ONCE! :D
