I have been on a diet journey since my midd twenties, but as I entered my forties the scale climbed me steady up to 89 kilogram and I knew I had to loose weight! After I discovered recently that I was becoming insulin resistant I had a new urgency in my life to loose weight. Not just to loose it but find a lifestyle of loosing it. ALL ABOUT TODAY: 31 March
Monday is a great time to get my head straight on about LOW CARB! I'm not loosing weight and not picking up either..... not noticeably but enough to make the scale climb over a month.... All I know is to stick to the basics and keep going. Still wanting to reach my 20kg down mark before this summer.
I have new hope in living a LOW CARB LIFESTYLE for ever and being at a healthy weight.
BREAKFAST was 2 fried eggs with tomato and cucumber and a bit of feta cheese. Two mugs of coffee and cream.
LUNCH was tuna salad with lots of lettuce and a bit of grated cheese.
Midd afternoon I was starving so I had half a chicken breast with mayonnaise and half an avocado with salt.
SUPPER was oven roasted pumpkin, stir fried green beans with garlic and a bit of chicken strips with tomato onion salad.
Had two 2t of peanut butter. Today I had the munchies and wanted to eat everything in my way normally a bit of peanut butter soothes that.

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 30 Maart
Tonight is time changing here for us. The clock goes back an hour tonight! Not a good idea for starting off on a MONDAY MORNING!
BREAKFAST was a great meal. I made omelette with spicy Turkish sausage, eggs, a bit of pepper and olives. Topped it off with a sprinkle of grated cheese. COFFEE AND CREAM had two mugs before leaving for church.
LUNCH was at three this afternoon out with friends. I ordered a chicken salad. The salad was great but I had to search to find the chicken..... That helps allot! Of all the things I could order I picked the salad thinking it would give me the best choice low carb and the least damage. Hfffff I drooled over the other plates......Was so hungry by the time we got home at six tonight.
SUPPER was a small avocado pear with salt, pepper and a bit of feta cheese.... yes! one of the avocados decided to give me the honor to be soft enough to be eaten.... now to wait for the other three ;)
Was a good food day! A new week ahead to chop at the path of eating LOW CARB and cutting out sugar! May it be a great week for you.

ALL ABOUT TODAY! 29 March
What a day! We went house hunting in a village.... there was not much to eat so I didn't have any food temptations.
BREAKFAST was 2 eggs with a sprinkle of cheese. I had 2 mugs of coffee the one with cream and the other whisked with a T of coconut oil. I knew it was going to be a challenging day so I thought the coconut oil would give me a good kick energy wise and keep me full.
LUNCH was a camp out at one of the homes we were looking out with one of the house owners. My family had hotdogs in buns with chips and pepsi. I had two of the hot dog sausages with blue cheese, mayonnaise and a cup of diet pepsi. Hey it was a picnic! ;)
SUPPER at home tonight I was starving for some salad. I had a big bowl of lettuce with blue cheese and olive oil. I was hoping that at least one of the avocado's I found yesterday in a store was RIPE enough to eat tonight..... NOT!

ALL ABOUT TODAY! 28 March
Oh it is weekend at last. I took myself out this afternoon for a stroll and coffee..... was such a good time just to sit and think....... Off course I wanted to eat chocolate with my coffee and a HUNDRED other things..... but I stood strong! It feels good! Don't know what is going on but I have been craving chocolate. Last night I cave in and had some..... and then I felt so bad as to all the hard NO'S one fall out with chocolate takes a whole week of eating low carb AWAY!
Nothing like weekend to get me into gear again. That T.O.M does not help trying to be strong! ;)
BREAKFAST is my favorite meal of the day. I love eating eggs and salad.
LUNCH was a special treat AGAIN FROM MY SWEET NEIGHBOR it was an absolute divine salad. THANK YOU VERY SPECIAL NEIGHBOR! x x x
SUPPER will be my treat of the day. I made "the bun in a mug" pizza with chicken on top.
Strawberries has hit the fruit and vegetable market and it is so sweet and delicious. I restrain myself to 2 a day.

ALL ABOUT TODAY: 27 March
Feels like I have been hit by a truck today! CLEANING THE HOUSE is never something I love and it is HOUSE CLEANING DAY! :D Atleast it is done and now getting supper ready for a guest coming.
The weather is warmer and it helps me to get my liter and a half in a day. I am not very patient loosing weight and not seeing the scale just drop 500g a day is so TESTING ME..... ;)
